The model
No route paywall. No required public membership fee.
Funding can come from voluntary contributions, grants, partnerships, sponsorships, events and project support without making basic route information exclusive.

Bike shops, communities, tourism organizations and aligned businesses may support specific projects without controlling route information.

Formal incorporation will create opportunities to pursue grants and project funding for route, stewardship and community work.
